Next in our Meet The Members is Scott Warrington from Great Harwood, England. Scott has been over on Two of our trips to the Netherlands.

Why you love PEC Zwolle?
"Their fans are second to none". Scott loves that the fans get behind their team in all scenarios.
"Whether 4-0 up or 4-0 down, they're still singing and setting off Pyro's".

What do you like about the City of Zwolle?
"I think the City of Zwolle is one of the nicest and friendliest cities I've ever visited, The nightlife is unreal. During the day there is plenty of chilled out bars in the centre and then at night the small strip of clubs come alive"



First Memory of Dutch Football?
"I remember Euro 96 when England beat Holland 4-1, goals from Alan Shearer and Teddy Sheringham and the Netherlands losing to France on penalties" ... (Sorry).


Your Favourite Dutch Player of All-Time?
"It has to be Edgar Davids. The man was a genius with the ball. I was lucky enough to see him play live". Scott saw Davids play for Barnet against his beloved Preston North End... Barnet were beaten 6-0. But Scott still enjoyed the experience of seeing him live.

Favourite ever PEC Zwolle match?
"The Dutch cup final, an epic game beating Ajax 5-1". Scott points out the local Zwollenaars are always telling him about the game on his visits over to Zwolle.

Favourite All-Time PEC Zwolle Player?
"It has to be Bram Van Polen" . Scott then reminisces about the song our group made up for BvP incorporating an incident when a guy in Amsterdam tried to sell him a stolen Bicycle. Scott is very happy that Bram has signed up for his Fourteenth season with the Blauwvingers.


What are your hopes for next season and who should PEC sign in the summer?
"I think PEC will have a mid-table finish and dependant on the Covid-19 situation bring in one or two players". Scott said he would like to bring in a loanee like Rhian Brewster from Liverpool looking to add some pace to the Zwolle team.

Favourite Moment on your PEC Zwolle trips so far?
"Too many to mention. Has to be watching Tony (Yates) drink 50 Jagerbombs in Two days and having his last one in Shotto in a dentist chair".

Who do you support in England and why?
"Preston North End, I am a season ticket holder and have been for over 10 years. My dad took took me to my first Preston game and got me into following them"
